5k and four months!

Yesterday Brian and I ran a 5k in Lancaster. It was great weather--perfect for running. I didn't do as well as I wanted and but I beat my time from earlier this month by 4 minutes. Brian did so awesome. He ran it in 29 something minutes and I ran it in 33 something minutes. We are signing up for a Lancaster Grand Prix and we get 12 races for $25 and 100% of the money goes to the local community. We have missed about 2 of them but the next race will be late June. We are excited and aiming to beat our previous times by about 5 minutes! I am so mad at myself...I forgot a picture for our first one and then again yesterday...sorry! Now for a new story...

AHLYSSA IS FOUR MONTHS OLD!
(we go to the doctor for weight and length on June 5)

-Love being swaddled...although you can now get out of it :( which then you wake yourself up.
-No matter where we are you find the T.V. and stare at it.

-HAVE to have a blanket by your face...you prefer your pink/white blanket g-ma made.

-Drinking 6 1/2 ounces every 4 hours.

-You go to bed at 10pm wake up about 2:30am and 4:30am for paci but right back to sleep and wake up at 7am to eat. Then right back to sleep until 11am. Up for an hour and a half back to sleep-then up at 3pm to eat...up for 2 hours then back to sleep until 7pm...then bed at 10pm.

-You are such a happy baby and just go with the flow. Although you can get a little attitude.

-You have laughed MAYBE twice...we've tried EVERYTHING! (I think you like watching mommy and daddy making a fool of ourselves!)

-You love your bumbo seat.

-Love laying on your Rainforest play gym. You will do a circle around the mat because you twist your head back (see picture). Soon you will roll over.

-Every time we bust out the camera the smiles are pretty much gone...we have to hide it then snap it!

-You eat your fingers and hands all the time--even in your sleep.

-You are starting to put everything into your mouth...to figure out textures.

-You like to have books read to you...you might just like us talking to you.

-In size 2 diapers.

-You won't roll over from belly to back...you did for like a week straight but won't do it anymore....

-You are getting to big for your baby bath.

-You have a hard time sleeping anywhere BUT your crib.

-Still can't figure out your eye color.

-You are developing the cutest personality.

-You have the biggest bald spot on the back of your head...and now its going up the sides of your head because you whip your head from side to side to get comfy or to look around.

-You are very aware of your surroundings and stare and new things either in the house or car.

-Pretty have grown out of 3-6 months clothes.

We love watching you explore and find new things. You are such a joy in our lives. "(We) love you forever and like you for always...as long as (we are) living (our) baby you'll be."
