Here and There

Yesterday was such a fun day. Brian and I took the day off so we could go to my best friend's open house from high school. It was so good to see her and her family and meet her husband. The open house was in Perry, OH. Caitlyn was there as well!!

I love taking road trips and it gives Brian and I a chance to talk with no interruptions (except for the occasional out cry of a perfect 2-month old traveler). Ahlyssa did awesome going and coming. We stopped at the Lodi Outlet mall and got some great deals!

My mom and Marissa had been in town this past week babysitting Erika's boys while Erika and Aaron went on vacation. It was a fun EVENTFUL week. (I totally respect and give Erika props for taking care of those boys-they are a handful but SO CUTE). The weather has been somewhat nice and so we went to the park a couple times.

Ahlyssa has been cooing and rolling over like crazy. She is lifting her chest and head up very well. She gets so into what's going on around her.

We got her a highchair....because like I've said before when I get something that I need on my mind, I have to get it NOW. (No, Mom and Erika--I didn't feed her anything!)
