"Long time no write!"

Wow, its been quite awhile since I have even thought about writing on this. So much has happened. Brian started a new job in February and works for a bank called First Merit. He is doing such a good job and I am so proud of him. Right now he doesn't get a lot of days off but is working so hard. The insurance is awesome which will be great because we found out in June that we are expecting a little one. We are so extremely happy and it couldn't have come at a better time. I have been doing really, really well as far as morning sickness goes. I haven't been sick at all and hardly ever get nauseous anymore. I have gotten that under control now. I do get sleepy still but I doubt that ever goes away! We will find out what we are having at about 21 weeks will be the early part of October. By the way I am due Feb. 10th 2009. I can't wait to know what we are having. Last week we had the blessed opportunity to hear the heartbeat. That was such a surreal moment. I don't feel like I am actually going to be a momma and Brian will be a daddy, but I know we are so ready. I will post pictures when I start to actually show. There's nothin' right now! We go back to the doctor again August 8th. I feel like I am extremely blessed for the opportunity to carry a child that was just not long ago with our Father in Heaven. This child whether it be a boy or girl will have an important mission to complete.
We also just had a great visit from my mom for about 5 weeks. Alex showed his little adult face around for about 2 weeks then headed back home to become an adult and get a job after just graduating high school. Marissa also was out here. I got a chance to spend a lot of time with them this time around because I am only working part time at Children's Orchard right now through out the summer. Unfortunately, they left yesterday and it was extremely hard this time to say "good bye" because I feel like being pregnant I just need my mom around 24/7. Although I am fortunate to have Brian's family and my brother and especially my sister close by. My mom will be back in Feb. for the birth. I really hope that I will be at least half as good of a mother as my mom is to me.
My dad is still in Kuwait. He still has about 6 months left and I know he is counting the days down until he can leave that place. Being there 10 months without family and friends (not being your co-workers) really can bring the spirits down of a person. We can communicate mostly through e-mail and he will call my mom just about everyday. He calls us about once every 2 weeks. We can't call him so we just e-mail when we have something to say. He really enjoys e-mails!
Well I think that is about all for right now. Hopefully I'll be about to get some pictures up and I hope to get the ultrasound pictures up when we get them.

You guys do have a lot going on! I understand the feeling about wanting mom around during pregnancy. My mom is moving to Wisconsin on Thur. I have another ultrasound that day and wanted her to come since of course Mark won't be there, but she and my sister are leaving an hour before my appointment. Anyway, just wanted to say hi on your blog :-) Reminds me I should update mine haha.
